Are you a passionate Science Teacher in Luton looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to deliver engaging Science lessons across Primary and Secondary education. Whether you specialise in general Science for younger learners or a subject-specific focus in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics for older students, this role offers flexibility and variety across different age groups and schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students in Primary (KS1 & KS2) and Secondary (KS3 & KS4) settings.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning abilities.
  • Create an interactive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress to ensure achievement and development.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support student learning.
  • Follow school policies, including safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching Science at Primary or Secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge across general Science for Primary or specialist areas (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) at Secondary level.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Must live in the UK, have the right to work, and be able to commute to Luton.
