Are you a dedicated Science Teacher in Royston looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher to deliver engaging Science lessons across Primary and Secondary education. Whether you specialise in general Science for younger learners or a subject-specific focus in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics for older students, this role offers flexibility and variety across different schools and age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for Primary (KS1 & KS2) and Secondary (KS3 & KS4) students.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different age groups and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and interactive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
  • Maintain excellent classroom management and behaviour standards.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support student learning.
  • Follow school policies, including safeguarding and health & safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Experience teaching Science at Primary or Secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge in general Science for Primary or Biology, Chemistry, or Physics for Secondary.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Must live in the UK, have the right to work, and be able to commute to Royston.
